Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be home for the installation?

If there is any electrical work required in your attic or garage, or other locations where inside work is required, we would ask that you or someone you appoint be there while we work. This would include while we install any inside equipment such as the solar inverter or battery backup. Otherwise, you are not required to be present during the installation.

What if I have Pets?

Please ensure that your dogs and cats are secured for the duration of the work when our crew is onsite. If we arrive at your house and see that there is an unsecured animal in the work area, we will knock on the door and ask you to put your animal away. If you are not home and the pet is loose in the work area, we will attempt to contact you but will not enter. Should we be unable to contact you, then we will call off work for the day, which will delay your system installation.

When Will Your Crews Be At My House?

Our crews and project managers will always be respectful of your time and property. We will arrive during business hours, usually with advance notice, so you know when we will be there working. Typically, we do not work on the weekends, but we will always secure our tools, the solar materials, and your property before we leave for the day.

What is Battery Backup?
